Yeah, God loves everyone but not everyone loves God.

You’re not born as one of His children, you’re born into a worldly facade.

When you become one of His children, the world is going to hate you.

The world believes in a myth, they no longer accept the truth.

Since the beginning of time, the world has gone against God.

We are all born as sinners, that’s why the path to destruction is broad.

To find the narrow path, you have to put aside what you think you know.

To truly serve God, you have to go where He tells you to go.

God’s way is different than what the world will tell you to do,

And when you start to follow God, the devil shows up right on cue.

The devil is the prince of this world, it’s his goal to make you stray,

But getting close to God is the only thing that keeps the demons at bay.

Demons are not what we’ve been told they are.

They’re the trauma, the triggers that keep you locked in the dark.

They’re every rejection and each and every time you were abused.

They’re the whisper in your ear that says you’re always being accused.

They’re the pride that makes you boastful every time your vanity shines.

They’re the reason you’re still hopeful that your will will work out in time.

They’re each and every time we surrender to the flesh,

And their one and only goal is to lead us all to death.

To follow God means you accept you’ll be hated.

To follow God means you’re willing to be persecuted.

To follow God means you understand that you could die.

We follow God because He promises eternal life.
