You don’t trust God, but you trust the weatherman.
You’ll follow your GPS, but you won’t follow God’s plan.
You trust in man to show you how to live this life,
But man is the one who will say, “I love you,” while slowly twisting the knife.
You trust in man to say the Bible is wrong.
You trust man’s definition of what it means to be strong.
You don’t trust God because you’ve never heard His voice,
But He’s never had a chance, you’re always surrounded by noise.
You run from God because you fear His judgement,
But the longer you run, the more you build up resentment.
God gave His life to save you from wrath,
But you still turn away and refuse to walk His path.
You say that you believe but you don’t know a thing about Him.
Your belief is as good as hearsay, it’s nothing more than a simple whim.
You have no faith because He’s not something you can see,
But the ones who will inherit the kingdom are the ones who actually believe.
True faith requires trust even when fear steps in.
You choose to trust in man or the one who died for your sins.
God never said it would be easy, He actually said the opposite.
He said to preach His word even when man tells you to stop it.
Real faith requires strength to walk into the fire.
Real faith requires trust when your circumstances are dire.
Real faith is understanding that God gave His life for you,
So living your life for God is the very least you could do.
