For a seed to grow, it first has to be planted.
But you can’t stop there, you can’t leave it stranded.
It takes love and care and work every day.
It takes weeding and watering and sunshine rays.
For a seed to grow, it needs good soil.
But if you neglect your work, that seed will spoil.
For the seed to take root, you have to make space.
Dispose of the debris and don’t leave a single trace.
As it begins to grow, you have to keep it protected.
If you allow a pest in, it could become infected.
Strong roots take time, you can’t let it be moved.
When it grows into a tree, your time and effort will be proved.
A seed is just a seed until it goes in the dirt.
A seed is just a seed until you put in the work.
A seed without soil cannot fulfill its purpose.
A seed that’s never planted will whither on the surface.
A seed left unprotected will be eaten or trampled.
And a seed left in the weeds will only grow to be strangled.
A mustard seed is small like a tiny speck of dust.
But once it’s been planted, its roots become robust.
When the plant needs water, its roots dig down deep.
Its roots are the reason this plant can stand the heat.

And once it starts to grow, you’ll begin to bear its fruits.
