The world is the world, be it family, friend, or stranger.

It doesn’t matter who they are or what their label is,

God is above all because all have the choice to be His.

But not all choose Him, some choose their own way.

They conform to the world’s path and lead others astray.

Family, friend, or stranger, none of them can save you,

And if you choose their way over God’s, they’ll show you to your doom.

Conforming is conforming no matter who it’s for.

If you choose to bend God’s word, you open the devil’s door.

God’s word says that family has nothing to do with blood.

They’re the ones who serve the Father, the ones who’ll show you real love.

Love is telling the truth even when it hurts.

Love is forgiving even when you’ve been kicked in the dirt.

Love is teaching discipline even when you’re exhausted.

Love is doing what’s best even when it’s not what you wanted.

Love is showing up for others even when you’re broken.

Love is bringing joy to others even when yours is stolen.

Love can’t be bought and it’s a choice every day.

Love is more than an emotion and only God can show you the way.

The people around you can only take you so far,

But they can’t fill the hole you still have on your heart.

That hole has a shape, simple and unique,

And that hole will be filled when it’s finally God you seek.

The people you know can say that they love you,

But when you look at what they do, is that love really true?

People can say that they love you and never answer the phone,

But once you call out to God, He’ll take you in as His own.
