It’s Sunday, let’s talk about religion. I’m sure many of us are familiar with one, or several different, religion(s). Which one is the one true religion? Which one are we supposed to follow?

The short answer is: none of them.

Now, I’m not saying that religion is bad. It actually plays a vital role in bringing some of His saints back to Him. Religion is not, however, the end all be all. There are many means and pathways He utilizes to reach His people. Religion is simply one of these many means. But why are none of them THE one true religion?

Religion, no matter which one, is ran by man. They all claim to be ran by God, when in reality, they’re all ran by man. This is where they fail. The teachings, rules, practices, etc. are all based on man’s understanding, man’s interpretation. Many of which, create judgement, create judges, in one form or another. This, in and of itself, is wrong. God is the only judge. This is a position no human being, no matter how righteous, can fill.

God already gave us the rulebook. And when that wasn’t enough, He sent His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON to live as a human being. To endure the kind of life, the kind of challenges, the kind of wickedness that each and every one of us have or will face. Jesus is our example for how to do it right. Jesus is THE one true religion. He is the end all be all.

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
