The Biblical Woman

What does a biblical woman look like in today’s world?

She doesn’t have a career, because she doesn’t have time for one. She’s too busy taking care of her household, and to do that, she has to be at home.

She’s not worried about being equal with a man, because she understands the man and the woman each have different roles to play. Both genders have a purpose, and when properly enacted, a team is born. Two people function and act as one, a.k.a. what marriage is supposed to be.

The biblical woman stays home, because the more you do at and for your home, the less money required in order to run your home. The less money required to run your home, means more time your family is together.

The biblical woman teaches her children instead of sending them to daycare or public school.

The biblical woman cooks to provide food for her family instead of spending money on quick food for its convenience.

The biblical woman spends more time making clothing than buying it.

Titus 2:3-5

“The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.”

Proverbs 14:1

“Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.”

Proverbs 31:10-31

“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.”

God doesn’t separate families, He builds them. Separating, dividing, is Satan’s job. Nowadays, he uses money and power (or competition) to get it done.

Psalm 68:6

“God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.”

1 Timothy 6:6-10

“But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

Now women believe they have to work in order to be equal to men. If both are working, daycare/school is required so the kids are taken care of. Both get busy and/or worn out, so you spend more money getting fast food (be it at a restaurant or microwaveable meals). The family spends more time apart, making each and every one of them more susceptible to the world’s ways.

Money separates families.

Matthew 6:25-34

“Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

God said not to worry about things like food and clothing. But what else do we use money for?

Items to alter our appearance: makeup, special lotions and cleansers, a different outfit for every occasion, supplements to lose weight, supplements to gain muscle, etc.

Amusement: television/internet, family outings (movie, zoo, amusement park, aquarium, etc.), video games of all sorts, holidays, etc.

Convenience: most, if not all, technology

But none of that stuff is necessary for life. They’re all wants, and the more wants you have, the more money you need, the more time you have to be separated from your family. Even if you’re the woman and you do stay home, if you have all of these extra wants to be happy, your man then has to spend more time working to provide the money to give you those things.

If the man and woman are kept separated, Satan wins.

God made man, then He made woman to be in help to that man. She can’t be in help if she’s always fighting against him, if she’s always competing with him, if she’s always in need of material things.

Material is all temporary, which means none of it is important.

Money is temporary, which means it and everything it provides is irrelevant.

The fleshly body is temporary, which means how pretty/handsome/sexy you are doesn’t matter; how strong you are doesn’t matter; how skinny/fat you are doesn’t matter.

The soul is the only thing that’s permanent.

When you truly understand that, God and His will become the top priority, the only priority. Because then you understand that this life simply determines how your soul spends eternity.

If you stick with God and His ways, your eternity is in light and love, peace and joy.

If you conform to the world and Satan’s ways, your eternity is in darkness and torment, destruction and misery.

Genesis 2:18-24

“And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”

Ephesians 5:22-24

“Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.”

Proverbs 21:19

“It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.”

Luke 12:15

“And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.”

Proverbs 11:4

“Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.”

Proverbs 23:4

“Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.”

John 6:63

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

1 Timothy 4:8

“For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.”

Galatians 6:8

“For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”

Matthew 6:19-21

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

Romans 12:1-2

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

How long are you willing to gamble with your soul?

2 Peter 3:8

“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

Mark 8:36

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”

Matthew 24:12-13

“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”

Matthew 24:42-44

“Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

1 Thessalonians 5:2-3

“For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.”

Change your ways and live for God…

Before living in your ways solidifies your chains in Satan’s prison.
