If Jesus came back right now… are you ready?
If He sent His angels to gather His people… would you be picked up?
…
I think it’s fairly common knowledge that you need to believe to be saved.
But is that enough?
…
There are so many people… so many Christians… who will be left behind.
…
Do you go to church on Sunday?
If yes, do you change anything about you in order to attend?
Do you dress nicer?
Do you behave more respectful?
Are you more careful with what you do and don’t say?
…
Attending church doesn’t save you.
…
Do you have forgiveness you still need to give?
If you’re still holding on to resentment, to hatred, to grudges against anyone…
If you’re still withholding forgiveness for anything…
Then you yourself…are not forgiven by God.
…
Are you truly trusting in God?
If your answer is yes, do you seek opportunities to bring in money?
Do you care about what your clothes look like?
Are you still trying to prove you deserve to be loved? By your family? By your friends? By your boyfriend/girlfriend? By your spouse? By your kids?
Then God is not your number one priority.
…
It’s not enough to simply say the words.
“I believe in God.”
“I believe in Jesus Christ.”
“I’m a believer.”
“I’m a Christian.” (Or fill in “Christian” with your religion)
These are all just words. And just because it comes out of your mouth, does not mean that’s what’s in your heart.
Well, I don’t know if you knew this, but God examines your heart. The true you. God cares about what’s in your heart. You get to answer for every idle word you’ve spoken at your judgement. First, you have to make it to God.
…
When you are truly born again… not religious, born again…
When you are truly born again, the Holy Spirit goes to work. You start being changed from the inside out. There’s an actual transformation. You become a new person.
…
Are you truly living for God?
…
Or are you living for you?

Matthew 24:38-42
“For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
Matthew 24:31
“And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
John 14:6
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Matthew 6:14-15
“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
Luke 12:16-21
“And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”
Matthew 6:25-27
“Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?”
Luke 14:26
“If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.”
Jeremiah 17:10
“I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.”
Matthew 12:36-37
“But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”
John 3:3
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Colossians 3:1-11
“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.”
Ephesians 4:20-24
“But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”
