A Testimony of Christ

It seems fitting for the first Sunday of the month to go ahead and share my personal testimony.

I know that Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I know He came and lived and died on the cross as a final sacrifice for the entire world’s sins. I know He defeated death 3 days later so we would no longer have to fear death. I know He came and taught and preached unlike anyone had ever seen or heard. I know because He is righteous, there is and will be judgement. I know as long as I love and trust in Him with all my being, nothing can kill my spirit. I know as long as I follow in His footsteps, I will face hardships in this life, but my place in His kingdom will be waiting for me. I know truly choosing Him could even lead me to be killed, but I know I fear He who can kill both the body and spirit. I know that when Jesus separates the sheep from the goats, I will have to answer for every one of my words and actions. I know Jesus is the truth, the way, and the life, and I know He is the only way to the Father and eternal life. I know He lives in me and therefore I carry Him with all His glory and His power and His authority which was presented as a gift of grace through the death of His Son to anyone who chooses to accept it.

If you still feel lost, hopeless, rejected…

He’s waiting for you.

If you still feel unworthy…

He’s waiting for you.

That hole you feel inside of you… the hole you keep trying to fill with the world…

That hole inside is His home, but He can only enter if you allow Him to…

And that hole…that void…will never truly be filled until you do.

Matthew 11:28-30

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
